Breathing underwater.....

IS AMAZING!!!

As you've guessed, I'm learning to scuba dive. At the wonderfully discounted price of £30. God bless universities......

But if you haven't already, and you can, go out and try it!
Had the first pool session, very cool except for feeling like an ungainly walrus as I vainly tried to stop rolling around out of control.... They say it gets easier. Still cool though.

Only thing I'm not looking forward to is doing it in the sea.....brrr...

Sounds AMAZING!!! I'd love to try that -- but in a pool only where I could get back up quickly if something went wrong :P

WOW...

I would LOVE to scuba dive- but in a pool, like xavier... you know... no ugly fish... nothing staring at me from a black hole in a reef...

On the other hand, I would be much more willing to learn how to fly...

Yay, another scuba diver.

What kind of weight belt are you wearing? If it's one with the little blocks on it, then you might have to move them around so that they're balanced.

Have fun!

You will never go back to snorkelling....wait actually you will if you love being underwater as much as me.
Playing noughts and crosses 50m down is fun!!!!

Sorry for delay in replies...
Ms Ellisa - we do all our initial training in the pool, the we move on to sheltered open water (e.g. quarries), and then finally the sea...what terrifies me is the cold. And possibly the dark....

Msilf- nope, not me in pool. Random google image I'm afraid. But I'm guessing I look much the same...

Dragonfly - I can't access your blog....
