Well, today's the day I hand in my essay!
I spent yesterday tweaking it, and, well......... its quite shite. But, I hope its the kind of shite they like at this Med School.
All the same, don't think I'll be getting a distinction....
oo, and (obviously) I'm back! Had PBL again this morning, it was a little flat I'm afraid to say.
At least its sunny.

Well done on meeting the deadline, Lala.
I've got a question for you and I hope you won't mind giving an opinion.
My daughter is about to sit her Leaving Cert exams this June. Her No.1 wish in life is to study veterinary medicine and she's slaving away trying to get the points. She's a real outdoor type and has been horse riding non-stop since 5 years old. She did work experience with a large animal practice in transition year and loved every moment of it despite working very long days.
What advice would you give her and I'm baring in mind that you chose to leave to become a medical doctor?
btw She's no interest in studying medicine. She is just longing to work with animals. She has also listed animal equine science (UCD) on her CAO if she doesn't get enough points for 'vets'.
Tayaki may like to contribute some thoughts on this too?
Would be grateful for any guidance you can offer on this.
